The PS Plus games for April went live on the 4th. This month we are getting 3 free games to download, with two of them being available for both the PS4 and PS5 and the final one just available just for the PS4. This article will tell you which games are available and how difficult they are to platinum!
Hood: Outlaws and Legends
The first game in this month’s PS Plus catalogue is Hood: Outlaws and Legends. It is available for both PS4 and PS5 owners and consists exclusively of online PvP modes. Whilst the Platinum isn’t exactly difficult, it will be quite time-consuming. The main grind will be to reach rank 100, which may take anywhere from 80-100 hours, depending on your skill. Outlaws and Legends are cross-save enabled, so your trophies will auto-pop from PS4 to PS5 and vice versa. If you are looking for the plat for this one, be prepared to grind online for quite a few hours.
Slay the Spire
The next game available for download from this month’s PS Plus subscription is Slay the Spire, which is a Roguelike card/building game available for PS4 and PS5. It is an interesting and unique card-building game where you journey up an ever-changing spire by fusing together cards to form a unique deck that suits your playstyle. To get the platinum in this you just need to play the game a whole lot, whilst also relying on some luck-based trophies. Overall the platinum should take you around 50-70 hours, luck and deck dependent.
SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated
This game is available for the PS4 and is basically a remake of the PS2 version. The trophies are all very easy and nothing is missable. The platinum can be obtained in just one playthrough, but beware there are over 200 collectibles, which pushes the time to platinum up to around 15-20 hours.
