Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands releases tomorrow, and the reviews are rolling in. So far, they are looking pretty positive with it receiving an 80 on Metacritic (for the PC version). The Borderland’s spin-off is more of the same of what we’ve come to expect from the franchise, with fantastic writing and voice acting mixed with crazy FPS action and a memorable story. The trophy list is also finally out and it looks like the typical Borderlands list; not too tricky. There are a total of 39 trophies (29 bronze, 4 silver, 5 gold, 1 platinum).

A Recent Hope

First, we have the player-level trophies. Here we must reach level 40 to obtain a gold trophy; not too bad at all. It took around 15 hours to reach max level (35) in Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, so expect it to take slightly longer to reach level 40 in Wonderlands.

Next up we have our run-of-the-mill quest trophies. As you can see, there are quite a few. It’s too early to say whether these are all tied to the story but consistent with some of the other games there will be plenty of side quests. We obtain a gold trophy for completing all of the side quests. How many there are is yet to be known, but there is a bronze trophy for 20, so it’s safe to say there is probably plenty more than that.

The list closes out miscellaneous and combat-related trophies. By the sounds of it, you will need to 100% the game to obtain the platinum. There are no difficulty-related trophies mentioned, which is always a big plus for many players. It sounds like two of the trophies can be obtained via co-op through trading and by reviving another player.
The list appears as though it is a typical Borderlands-style trophy list with a few tweaks to suit the spinoff. Importantly, there are no character-related (class-specific) trophies, which will shorten the platinum time. I handy addition for many players, I’m sure. It is also significantly smaller than Borderlands 3 which had a massive 81 trophies, whilst Wonderlands only has 39.
Additionally, the trophy for finding an enchanted legendary item could be a little grindy, as it’s RNG-based, and we all know how that can turn out. Waiting for a Chubby to spawn in Assault on Dragon’s Keep was certainly a pain for many trophy hunters.
Finally, the Chaos Chamber is the core endgame loop for Wonderlands, and this requires you to reach level 20. Possibly some grinding post-game to be done.
If you’re unsure whether this game is for you, below is an official video featuring 20 minutes of gameplay (BEWARE OF SPOILERS)
